In comparison to previous years, the Iftar buffet at Movenpick is failing to meet expectations, with the dishes not meeting the usual high standards of quality and noticeably of lower quality than anticipated.
Personally, I found the main courses and desserts to be unsatisfactory and disappointing. Movenpick staff seemed more focused on quantity of guests rather than ensuring an excellent service.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the cost at all.

1- When I arrived I was shocked to see the main entrance looked like I was arriving to a deserted place. All sorts of stuff was piled up in front of the doors leading to lobby. As a matter of fact I had to drive further looking for right entrance.
2- I asked for a non smoking room. The stinch of cigarettes' in the room was unbearable.
3- Reception was clearly unfriendly. Around 6'oclock in the evening I asked reception for a two o'clock check out.
I was told I had to wait for the morning shift and ask them.
Wow wow wow.

Loved my stay here, check in experience, bell desk were super helpful and so check out staff. The room was spacious and I had a very nice view. I would recommend to stay here.

Excellent service! I had a 3 day business trip and stayed in the Movenpick Khobar Hotel Delux suite. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with coffee and warm greetings. Mr Mohammed and Mrs Shaimaa from the front desk went the extra mile with my checkin and their professionalism and friendliness was exceptional. Taijulislaam took care of my in room dining needs and again, with great care and professionalism. I thank Hilal abd Nadi for their support using the conference rooms. Overall a very positive experience and highly recommended. The suite bed room, lounge and bathrooms were large and 5 star quality. Breakfast and lunch restaurant dining was also world class. I will be back! Thanks for a great experience.

Yesterday I went for dinner in the hotel restaurant to enjoy the seafood buffet and it was the worst seafood experience. The orders were completely wrong in type, quality, and quantity. They used their new chef as an excuse which is a big problem if a new chef is like that. In the end they offered us an additional discount but that even did not happen. Therefore, keep away it was good before but now it has dropped in qualify significantly. One star is even a lot on them. I would give them a 0 if I could.

Movenpick Hotel is a 5 star hotel in Al khobar in the vibrant Corniche area, this elegant hotel is 2 km from both the Gulf waterfront and the Scitech museum. It's 55 km from the King Fahd International Airport. Hotels offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars, as well as sitting areas,tea and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms have Nespresso machines. The buffet restaurant has many different options and the quality is extremely high. I can honestly say the Indian restaurant was on another level. The room service was also first class. Other amenities include restaurants, cafe, kids club, swimming pool, steam room etc.
