Horrible service and frauds. I can’t make it any better. When I arrived at 0700 nothing was ready even though I booked the suite from the day before. After insisting on a room, I got a temporary room to stay in after an hour. That was not a suite. It was a standard room.
I waited for two hours to get my room, and finally went to my meeting. When I came back 2 hours later the suite I booked still wasn’t ready (a junior suite) and they offered me three “upgrades “: one smoking kind size, and two non smoking Queen size beds. The junior suite with a king size wasn’t ready.
I accepted and asked for the key. The guy at front desk explained that he couldn’t give me a key since then the room key for the other room would be cancelled. He offered to send someone up with the keys 5 minutes later.
They never did. When I called after an hour, again it would be 5 minutes . I waited another hour and then I checked out. Two days later they charged for the full amount of the suite I never got. After complaining with Marriott, they promised to refund the difference for the “standard room”. Obviously, they never did. I asked Amex to cancel.
I would not recommend my worse enemy to stay here.
I’m a Platinum Ambassador at Marriott and have never offered experienced such bad service.
