テントの街としても知られるミナは、メッカ巡礼の際に重要な役割を果たしたことで有名な渓谷です。サウジアラビアのメッカの東8キロに位置する。谷の中は、見渡す限りの広場にテントが張り巡らされています。
ハッジでの役割
ミナには最大 300 万人を収容できる容量があり、世界最大のテント都市でもあります。ハッジを行う巡礼者は、ミナで何泊もキャンプをしなければなりません。メッカ巡礼のシーズン中、街は巡礼者でにぎわい、残りの年は人けのないままです。ミナの谷は、預言者イブラヒムが夢の中で息子のイスマエルを犠牲にするよう命じられた場所でもあります。
レイアウト
ハッジ巡礼者を収容し、彼らがキャンプするのに適切な場所を確保するために、サウジ政府は 1990 年代にミナに綿で作られた常設テントを設置することを決定しました。綿のテントが設置される前は、ほとんどの巡礼者が避難手段として携帯用のテントを持参していました。 1997 年、「メッカの火事」として知られる悲惨な事件が発生した後、サウジアラビア政府は巡礼者のために約 100,000 の耐火性とエアコン付きのテントを設置しました。これらのテントの設置により、ミナには「テントの街」というあだ名が付けられました。巡礼者の安全のために、警報システム付きの感熱式散水器も設置されています。テントは、巡礼者を容易にするために、キッチン、バスルーム、沐浴所を備えたさまざまなキャンプに分けられています。

Don't be fooled by the name "European Tent" there wasn't anything special about the tents. 0 inch gap between 2 seats, AC not working with no assistance. Broken door on 1 side and water leacking from the top. A total bad experience

It started to rain today and it turns out these tents are not rain proof and the insides got flooded followed by water pouring in for all over the roof. Can be alot more cleaner but the cleaners don't clean the inside of the tents.

Mina is one of the convenient tents, and all the facilities are excellent except for the toilet. The toilet is outrageous, people standing over 45 minutes so is not acceptable at all, I know The government is trying very hard yet no excuse to make more WC.
