Al zaha Hotel

We always book this hotel when visit to Madinah. Good Hotel with reasonable price. Rooms are spacious. Wash rooms are clean. Staff is cooperative. They took 200 sr sercurity but easily return at check out. Easy parking. Only one flaw is location that is almost 1 km. My hubby takes 10-12 minutes. As I walk slowly so it takes 15-20 minutes to reach women section through Gate 316 Breakfast? is served in Zaha Al Munawara Hotel close to it. Pakistani Restaurant & baqala is near. No issue at all

Never book with these guys you will get there and they would have cancelled your booking. They help themselves and cancel without notice. They are extremely rude. I saw many families stranded in the middle of the night as their bookings had been cancelled. We got there at 5pm and found our booking cancelled. Had to find an alternate hotel - it was a nightmare for family with kids and elderly.

This hotel is very clean and the family room given to us was really spacious. Beds were comfortable with clean linen. Right next to this hotel is a Peshawari restaurant with great food and is open till late night. They also have a supermaket and a pharmacy downstairs 2-3 min walk away. The location may or may not be walkable to masjid e nabawi depending upon hot weather, little kids, health condition. Taxi normally charged 20-25 SAR to and from the haram. Ambience of this hotel is very nice. Breakfast is only available until certain times. Went there at 10 and saw some people eating in but a person told its now closed! At times, people can be sick or returning late night from haram and may wake up a little later. This breakfast service should have extended timings atleast till 11am specially if its included in your stay. This seemed unfair.

Overall I would rate this hotel quite poorly. Good: -Only 15 minute walk to masjid nabawi -service can at times be decent but be warned there's no room service for food Bad: -room decor is dated and walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from above and next door! -bathroom is very old, shower cubicle is one of the smallest I've had in my life, toilet seat is a cheapo plastic one and was broken

Heads up if you want to stay here don’t pay extra to get breakfast in your stay if you do you better bring you own butter or buy from out side. Because the restaurant manager here likes to pick and choose who he wants to give or not. It’s like I have more chances of finding gold than butter here. It’s defiantly not a 4 star hotel restaurant shame on the restaurant manager. Pilgrimers come here and stay here they offer prayers all day and night only get to ask for a decent breakfast and it’s horrible. Beware before booking pay little extra and book a 5 star hotel.
