A beautiful historical landmark. It is actually a historic small town with mud buildings. The area encompasses several museums, mosques and houses/palaces. It is a very nice walk through the old town and there are a lot a guides to help you navigate the area and answer any questions you might have.

Going to Historical places is one of my favorite hobbies. Feeling the place and imagining the event that happened there. If you have plans to come here, i would suggest you to come at 3-4pm so you can start appreciating the place with sunlight and moonlight. Lol

Beautifully preserved Najdi architecture that gives you a glimpse of historical era of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A place where the History of At-Turaif blends with Riyadh's modern Lifestyle, from walking through the streets of the village streets and experiencing the traditional music and singing called Ardha, to the lighting show and fine dine restaurants and so much more, the vibe of this place was immaculate. It was truly an amazing experience to visit this place and would highly recommend visiting in cooler evenings of November and December, when the weather is pleasent and the lights create a perfect setting. A couple of other things to note: - Since there's a bit of walking involved, wearing comfortable shoes and carrying water bottles would be highly recommended - Tickets can be bought online (SAR 50 per person) - Parking is SAR 30 for the first 3 hours, after that SAR 10 for every hour - Make sure to book reservation at Al-Bujairi restaurants well in advance to avoid waiting - You can show the tickets/QR code at the restaurants and get a discount of the same amount, so if you bought two tickets for SAR 50 each, you can avail the discounts at restaurants worth SAR 100

One special historical place in the heart of Riyadh. The place is very organised and clean, even when it is crowded you don’t feel it and you don’t wait at any point. Security guards and guides are all over the place, you got answers for all your questions. Explanation cards and signs at every new location at the site, presentations playing constantly, museums with historical saudi arabian music. All the place is accessible by wheelchair, toilets are very clean and numerous. Between Al-Turaif Site and Al Bujairi Terrace you can find a spacious garden called Al Turaif Gardens, with high palm trees, bungalows and benches, some coffee shops next to it. The entrance was free before 5:00 pm when I visited in October. The whole site is very recommended during daylight and at sunset as well as at night with the cozy atmosphere and lights.

Very beautiful unesco heritage site with some sort of an old fortress representing the beautiful history of the Kingdom with lots of artifacts inside the military museum where you can find an old canon, swords and lots of weaponery and armor!! The walk around is very beautiful especial during sunset in the garden next to the fortress wich is very picturesque. Lots of high end cafes and restaurants around for dining or maybe a cold drink. Staff is welcoming and helpful with all information and guidance needed. I recommend going during weekdays when its not very crowded to be able to enjoy every aspect of the place. Tickets reservations must be made and its free before 5pm, after 5 pm its 50 sar and the amount you pay can be redeemed inside any cafe of restaurant you enter.
