My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and our experience was very positive for the attitudes and responsiveness of its staff. Mr. Ahmad Sayyah, the supervisor of the 7th floor, had been very helpful and made our stay in the room given to us quite comfortable. Sincere thanks go to him and to his friendly staff. Similarly, the staff of the restaurant had been exceptional in their responsiveness and assistance. The breakfast content was diverse and our experience with the restaurant as a whole was positive. Our thanks go to all its staff.

Its location and services are great no doubt but they need to pay attention to the condition of their elevators, rooms and the food. The food they serve in their buffet are supposed to be authentic in taste, menu should be changed more oftenly and need to serve more variety of dishes. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I will tell you my experience with this hotel. I should come to the hotel on Thursday afternoon, but I couldn't because I stayed late in Mecca. On Thursday night I called the hotel to make sure the reservation was still valid. I pointed out that I was aware that I had to pay for the night I was not there. I spoke on the phone with a gentleman who, after receiving my reservation number, confirmed that nothing would be cancelled. the reservation would still be valid until my arrival tomorrow. The next day, Friday at noon, I showed up at the hotel and a very rude man told me that my reservation had been canceled because I hadn't made the payment. he told me that I could make a new reservation, but not at the price I had made through booking some time ago. A new higher price of course. We don't have parking, he said. That man is very rude in communication. I was extremely irritated, but it was Friday prayer time and I left for prayer for almost 30 minutes. After I returned again, Mrs. Jana was waiting for me at the reception. A completely different behavior, she made me a new reservation with my previous price, and did not include the night in which I was absent... She told me that they also had a parking lot but at a daily cost of 50 rials, great, I told her... I gladly accepted. But Ms. Jana did not bill me for parking for two days of staying at the hotel. Jana, thank you very much! I think that your professionalism increased the value of the hotel in my eyes... and I enjoyed my stay in Medina immensely. Thanks Jana!

Seems more like a 3 star hotel than 5 star hotel. 100% not deserving of the 5 stars. It was a disappointing experience, especially the first day. First off, they claimed our room was ready and it wasn’t. The door was open when we walked in which is a huge red flag and we saw there was a ladder from maintenance still inside with a missing curtain and a broken AC. Obviously it wasn’t ready.. We asked for compensation and they gave us a new bedroom which was quite dirty and definitely was not like a 5 star room. This was really annoying because if anything we deserved a room a lot better than the last. I think the 12th floor rooms were in general a lot worse than the rest. The bathrooms could’ve been more clean. Not only that, 2 of the 4 beds were so hard and I could barely sleep on them but at least the AC was working. As another compensation, they gave us fruits which was nice, but definitely not enough. Another highlight was that for the first time the minibar was free, so that was nice I guess. We didn’t have our room ready for quite a while so when we got food from outside we couldn’t even eat in the room and they didn’t allow us to eat anywhere else except the basement of the hotel!! The elevators are very small and take a long time to reach the floor, very inconvenient and out-dated. The service is not very good as you can see from my description of the first day but when we asked for a knife to cut the fruits we had to call like 5 times and nobody came so one of us had to just go down and get one.. The location however, was very nice as it was close to the masjid and close to food places and other shops. The second day was a bit better because the room was more clean. The breakfast was average and nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this hotel as their first choice and I don’t t want to go here ever again, I don’t understand how they can call it a 5 star hotel with such poor service, not great. If it’s going to be this expensive, I expect a proper 5 star experience, or at least lower the price! I’ll give it 3 stars though because I think any lower is a bit harsh. It’s more like a 2.5.

I was with my family for Hajj from 8 till 11 July. We stayed here. Very nice place, very near to Masjid e Nabwi. Building and rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Staff was very well-mannered and helpful. I must say the buffet breakfast and dinner was outclass. Better then any Five-star hotel in Pakistan. Highly recommended.
