Its a 5 mins ziyarat. Water has been stopped for maintenance. Ice cream trucks outside sell tasty ice cream for 3SR only. Also vendors outside have reasonably priced things for gifts.

Lovely place to visit for its history. The only drawback is the pump wasn’t working when we were there so we didn’t get to collect any water from there

Peaceful place with a wudu area and musalla prayer area. The well is protected by a fence. Closes at certain times. A date farm is nearby.

The Ghars Well!!!
The Prophet PBUH drank from it and bathed in its water. He once told Ali ibn Abu Talib that he wanted to be bathed with its water after his demise: “When I die, wash me with seven water skins from Al-Ghars Well.”
