Came on Friday when the old shops were closed. Beautiful old alleys with all the old houses. The roads were quite empty compared to the main road. The main roads and other parts of balad were as busy as usual, nothing like pandemic even though people were wearing masks..

Always the historic places in countries I visit! Just wish the stores were better labeled or the location, you can get lost in the small streets. Good food and spots to just chill!

This place has an amazing and authentic vibe.
Its best to visit after asr or an hour before maghrib to enjoy the daylight and avoid the heat.
We tried to visit the museum but unfortunately it was closed.

Lots of very unique shops with an antique, contemporary look. There are a many alleys way offers shops and restaurants, as well as a great photo opportunity any where. Outside area has many more shops, and activities surrounding this passageway. Highly recommend.
