We came here twice and enjoyed our meals a lot. There is one vegan dish available, the broccoli salad. During Ramadan we were served a special offer: Two drinks, biryani, garlic naan, lentil soup and one main course of choice for 49 rials which was great! Very tasty. Also the ambiance is welcoming and modern, cozy. Very good price value for Riyadh.

This was my first time in babulal to dine, decor, design of the restaurant is beautiful but if we talk about food and service, that’s quit difficult to say good things about it.
Food menu was quite lengthy with the long list of dishes, I believe that should be shorter.
The Taste of food was not up to the standard, all the dishes were quite different than pictures.
Texture of Dal makhani was very thin even the taste was very bad.
Rogan Josh was completely different in taste instead of mutton, they are using beef in Rogan Josh.
Chicken biryani was just ok, as it was cooked well but chicken was mixed separately in that dish too.
Service team members need some more training to entertain and understand the need of customers.

A recommended option for Indian food near Riyadh Season. Few veg options but good taste. Don’t have paper menu. Bill payment is also by scanning QR Code.

Babu Lal: Sweet Eats or Spice Surprise? (Delivered Review)
Babu Lal delivered right to my door, promising yummy Indian food at a good price. Did it taste as good as it sounded? Let's find out!
Food: I got a LOT of food for the money! Enough to share, for sure. But the taste wasn't quite what I expected. The butter masala and chicken tikka masala were a bit sweet, like someone added candy to the spice. Some people might like that, but I was hoping for something more, well, spicy!
Place: Babu Lal isn't fancy, but it's clean and cozy, like your friend's house.
Delivery: The food came fast and hot, like a friendly hello from the kitchen.
Bottom Line: If you want cheap Indian food with a sweet twist, Babu Lal is a good choice. But if you're looking for something more traditional and spicy, you might want to keep looking.
Bonus Tip: Reviews can be like different kinds of dance - some people like salsa, others like belly dancing. Just because I didn't love Babu Lal's food doesn't mean you won't! Give it a try and see if it moves your taste buds.
Remember: Food is like music - everyone has their own favorites. This is just my opinion, so have fun exploring all the different flavors of Indian food!
