Well fairmont is amazing hotel for big events yes it is not inside the main city hub it is near to Riyadh exhibition Center near Riyadh front.
They have amazing hospitality and views. 3 star for entire hotel . For hotel rooms I am not sure so I didn't give one more star. 1 star yes nothing is perfect.

A great hotel - hospitality and service is first class. Food and dining options and excellent and very varied. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Fouad was our server, and was very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Definitely recommend if staying in Riyadh.

I highly recommend the Fairmont in Riyadh. We stayed 4 days during the Saudi Cup. Our rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff was very accommodating and anticipated our needs with anything we needed. They helped us with arrangements for the airport and transportation during our visit.
Also the 365 restaurant there was delicious everyday breakfast lunch and dinner lots of options. Fabulous place and people!

Berry nice looking hotel with some strange faults. Furniture in the rooms is nice and stylish, but bathroom sink is so narrow that it's impossible to avoid pouring water around.
There's only one power outlet close the bed. Too few to recharge what i needed to. The lights into my suite couldn't be turned off by a single switch close to the bed. I had to walk around and use three switches.
Worst of all (this would take it a star on its own) there's no safety limitation to hot water. I pushed the knob on the hit side by mistake while washing and got a burn.
The rest is very good. I really enjoyed the food and the restaurant staff. The position is really good for airport, university and exhibition area.
Rooms were clean and big. 4 Stars for the poor design of details in the rooms and one less for the burn.
