Ibis Riyadh Olaya Street Hotel

Currently there’s a big construction site next door, my room looked out onto it. I was there for the boxing which finished at 02.30 I got back at 04.30 and the construction drilling started around 06.00 it’s really noisy, no warning was given at check in so I got no sleep that night. They should at least warn you then you could make alternative arrangements, which I probably would have done

The room's air conditioner is very loud, and the hotel staff informed us that this issue affects all rooms. Even when the AC is turned off, the noise from outside buildings can still be heard. The staff are helpful, but the rooms are quite small. However, the hotel is kept clean. Hotel location is perfect

This place is just a quick sleep before meetings kind a place. Only good for quick nap for business travel, nothing less and nothing more. The breakfast is fair for a day start but nothing fancy at all.

My bottom line for this hotel is that they have skyscraper construction just next to them. Even numbered rooms are adjacent to the construction site. Construction seems to be continued for at least a year more. They are digging the deep foundation now. Summer time for humidity and temperature as i understand that the construction happens on the night time which is a nightmare for guests. Orher vise hotels location is nice but some the staff specially front desk people seems overwhelmed and acting not hospitable. We booked for 2 adults and 1 kid but they said they have only baby bed not a folding bed even though we mentioned his age of 7 before booking. Overall avoid summer time which construction might happen at night. Winter time if you wake up late 9-10 bear with the noise. Management hiked up prices on booking websites not to ruin their rating on those website but on hotels website it is much cheaper . Until this anomally normalize means construction is still ongoing! Overall location is good , hotel clean, breakfast is ok. Managemenet specially front desk poeple needs to be improved.

Rooms are Pretty clean. Interiors are not modern. Curtains and blinds are pathetic. slide or pull down it gets detached. Location : Just Opp. to Kingdom Tower NO Swimming pool.USELESS GYM. The so called gym is on the top floor without Air conditioning. Equipment list : 1- Treadmill and 1-elliptical and 1-Cycle. F&B management team is pathetic. Welcome drinks for Silver and Gold members is limited to Tea coffee and canned Juice. fresh juices are not provided. Whereas in all other IBIS , you can select any drink. I had to escalate this issue to get a fresh Juice. Breakfast spread is average. Staff are courteous to guests.Esp cook Mr. Niyas and Waiter Mr.Faisal. overall - property needs renovation.
