Braira Qurtubah Hotel

Ain't a 4 star hotel material. Went in to check out at 6 pm and the room wasn't still ready. And guess what you need to have SAR 100 cash for the mini bar, to be deposited without any receipt. Found it weird. Front desk was too slow and arrogant. And they can't communicate in English, so beware. Staff overall was okayish. But the housekeeping staff was continuously chatting near my Room 113 until I have to give them a shutup call. The good thing was F&B manager Sunil who was very accomodating and knows his deal. Was managing the restaurant section very well. Overall a below par place to stay but like others said nothing to view around the hotel plus no windows to look out. AC was very noisy for sure. Not a place to stay for business travellers. Slow internet also.

Review is based on 3-4 visit.. over a different period of time.. Worst hotel. Rooms lack insulation. Throughout the night you can hear people walking and talking outside. Washrooms are small and have limited hot water. Outdated furniture. The worst part is the Reception. No smiles no greetings and the guys there don't understand English. Just imagine how they might be dealing with non Arabic speaking guests. No one will entertain on the calls. The breakfast buffet is limited. The cook ( humiliating to call him chef) is always resting in the kitchen and the staff have to call out his Highness to do the honours. Never had worse eggs.. In this price you can get far better place to stay. The management ( manager Ahmed) trying to be over smart all the time thinking the guests are stupid. They are not serious in training the staff especially the front desk/reception. Like other people said, paying a deposit of sar 100 in cash as they don't trust their guests for mini bar. No windows, no views, no personalized service. Seems like they are doing a favour to the guests. Zero etiquettes in staff.

We had dinner tonight at Mon plaisir restaurant, the food was amazing also the stuff were very helpful especially Mr Sunil We enjoyed their cheerfulness. the BBq is a must try. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very clean hotel and the service is also not bad but the room size was smaller than I anticipated. Nonetheless, highly recommended.

1. They don't clean your room until you call them.. happened for 2 days in a row while I only stayed for 2 days.. 2. Room is significantly small with almost no day light coming in 3. Water pressure is terribly low.. 4. Wifi very week.. they had to switch it to connect from the TV.. You could get better with the same price
