Habiendo abierto anteriormente la conocida cadena de restaurantes 'Wagamama', el restaurador chino y británico Alan Yau abre el primer restaurante Yauatcha en 2004 en Londres. El restaurante gana inmediatamente un gran reconocimiento y más tarde recibió su primera estrella Michelin en 2005.

Hoy en día, Yauatcha, ahora una marca global bajo el 'Grupo Hakkasan' continúa prosperando en el suministro de cocina china de alta calidad en muchas partes del mundo, incluida Arabia Saudita. Su única cadena, ubicada dentro del centro comercial Faisaliah en la calle Olaya en Riyadh, presenta un menú galardonado de platos tradicionales 'Dim Sum', 'Cantoneses' y otros platos de influencia regional.

Everything about this restaurant is impeccable. The food, the service and the furnishings. Four of us were quick to say that this was the best Chinese meal any of us have ever eaten. It was honestly delicious from start to finish. Flavoursome and it looked like art on your plate. We are definitely returning! Thank you so very much Riyadh and Yauatcha for an amazing evening.

This restaurant surprisingly has a very calm atmosphere. They have indoor and a semi-outdoor seating which overlooks the road and has floor air conditioning to temper the hot weather. Winter times it is outstanding. The food is excellent and the staff is very well versed on the menu items and can make great recommendations. The staff is outstandingly curious and helpful

One of my favorite spots in Riyadh. their outdoor seating is amazing specially the music theme that they’re playing. You never go wrong with: Szechuan aromatic duck, Black pepper beef and Mongolian chicken

First time to try Yauatcha. Overall happy experience. Winners: by far crispy duck salad, and the staff, the service was amazing I got a confirmation call, I got a personalized thank you email after dinner, manager stopped by personal attention. The steamed dim sum ? was very good, tried most of seafood ?, the mushroom ? was very good sweet earthy balanced, would want to try the edamame next time. Try couple of fried dumplings good but felling. None winners: pepper steak ? Will go back again for sure ✅

Great restaurant, clean and decent. Since there were few visitors, we could choose the table ourselves. Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather, the outdoor terrace could not be enjoyed. The food was brought in quickly and was very tasty. For the main course, we ordered a Peking Duck, which is served with pancakes. At first the whole duck was shown and then the prepared dish was brought. The amount of duck meat that was finally served was a bit disappointing. The dessert we ordered was amazingly good, it fixed a few mistakes. The waiters were a little too diligent, all the empty dishes were taken away in a moment that confused. I felt like I was in a hurry somewhere.

Prompt polite service in a calm setting. Excellent flavours in the soup and soft shell crab dishes, very tasty steamed dim sum with some traditional and some contemporary offerings

We ate our lunch there, it was amazing atmosphere and the food was great such as lamp chops, Singapore noodles.. the dish that we don’t like was fried platter and this is the only thing that we don’t like in our lunch. All the employees were friendly and polite. The price was high but it worth it. I recommend this restaurant for everyone and I will visit it again

The service was average. Tables left uncleaned long after guests left! Only to be cleaned when asked to. This is reflective of bad management. The food was very much average, and the Chilean seabass was obviously frozen for a long time that it lost its flavour and texture. The presentation of food was less than average.The decor does not match/reflect the cuisine at all. Pricing is in line with the market. Value for money 6 out of 10. I would not recommend it. One thing: the manager was so rude in insisting on me to discuss with him the experience even though I told him that I will write to him and would not let my wife and daughter wait...he was really an alien to hospitality business
