The room was good, however, the service doesn’t deserve the extra money I spent. I regretted the 2 nights I spent there, I was going to spend a week, but I cancelled my booking. There’s no juice in the buffet, the soda machine is bad, lack of variety in fruits. The way reception employees treat customers isn’t appropriate in most cases (some of them are cool). I don’t recommend it.

I wanted to express my utmost gratitude for the exceptional experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by your wonderful staff. Their dedication to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay was truly remarkable. The cleanliness of the rooms surpassed my expectations, and we were impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment. It made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The location of Novotel, particularly its proximity to the Haram, was incredibly convenient. It allowed us to easily access the holy site, enhancing the spiritual aspect of my journey. I must commend your staff for consistently going the extra mile to cater to the needs of guests. Whether it was providing helpful recommendations, assisting with inquiries, or ensuring prompt service, their commitment to excellence was evident throughout our stay. Overall, our experience at Novotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to your wonderful staff, clean rooms, convenient location to the Haram, and the extraordinary efforts they made to ensure guest satisfaction. We look forward to returning in the future and will certainly recommend Novotel to friends and family.

The service is very disappointing, room service is unreasonable no matter when or how often you call. Reception is very rude, and the room leave much to be desired. The bathrooms leaks into the living area, the beds are unstable, there were no slippers provided, the sheets are I breathable, and the toiletries are labeled as different products when in reality they are the same. I had stayed for three nights and had asked for the sheets to be changed, the towels to be replaced and the room to be cleaned none of which had been done. Very disappointing.

This is my 3rd time in 4 months that I've stayed in Novotel Thakher and unfortunately the service is becoming worse rather than any better. 1. No housekeeping will be done unless asked and if you ask later during the day, too bad they won't do. 2. Washrooms are stinking. 3. No toiletries, hair dryer 4. Welcome Drink (given to silver and Gold club members) has been downgraded to just water, red tea and black coffee. When asked, The guy at the Cafe said "New Year, New Rules". 5. No one responded when called at the reception, you'll have to visit the reception to ask whatever you need. Being an Accor Hotel, I'd expect this hotel to improve and not compromise on the values and the service they offered. It's becoming just an ordinary 3 star accommodation and not the Standard Novotel Hotel. Very Disappointed! Thanks

I first visited this hotel in 2022 and the rooms & service was excellent, however, it was just opposite this time. Writing this from the room itself, I travelled all the way from Qatar and had to wait 1 hour, just to check in and get my room. The middle aged lady was busy chitchatting and took 30-35 minutes for each check in. No welcome drinks were served, they are short of staff and the entire lobby had luggage lying here and there. They don’t take calls to laundry, housekeeping and even reception. I had to call emergency number and the staff who took the call wasn’t very polite. They have three towers, all full but only one tower’s lobby is functional with just 2 staff. The young girls are nice though.
