After a long journey of 7 hours from Madrid to Riyadh, we arrived with a clear conscience, having booked 2 rooms before the flight, since we had to catch another flight to Amman in 11 hours. We have had a very bad experience with the reservations team since they have given us false information, without truth. We are a family of 8 (with 2 babies) and we do not reside in Saudi Arabia but in Spain, we did not ask for a visa when the workers at both the airport and the hotel told us that we could leave the airport without any problem. Supposedly you could spend less than 12 hours without a visa and then enter the airport and catch the next flight.
It seemed very strange to me, so we repeatedly contacted them with great difficulty and they told us the same thing. This has been a complete scam.
Now we find ourselves with a reservation that we cannot attend due to lack of information and contact with the group of workers. I do not understand how an AIRPORT hotel does not provide the best service to travelers.
We had to make another reservation not at another hotel but at the Alfursan lounge which does not have rooms as such but places to stay for a while. An experience that both those who have a family and not, know that it is very hard and not at all COMFORTABLE. You cannot rest as well as you would in a hotel.
