I really wanted to give it a higher rating. But a few things have happened with me that stopped me from giving them higher rating. The main thing was not recognizing my Marriott status, specially in accommodating early Check-In. While I know I’m Ramadan things can be busy, but they had availability and they were not quick trying to help.
Another issue is the old nature of some of the amenities. For example, the phone in the room was touchy, the cord was making noises whenever I move my hand lightly.
The sink was blocked and I had to ask for a plumber. I ordered $12 Arabic coffee pot in the lobby coffee shop, only to discover that the pot with not working, so I opened it, only to discover mold inside the pot (delah).
From the good size of things they did send me a fruit and kunfeh welcome gift, which was nice. But nothing can compensate for not being able to upgrade my room, which is relatively small and overlook other rooms, not a nice view.

Beautiful hotel with amazing buffet, but the meals are not included in the price.
I booked this place for 2 reasons.
It said it had a pool. It was not open due to maintenance, and it has a 24-hour shuttle to the haram. You have to take 2 shuttle buses.
Beware, when boarding the second bus their are locals posted nearby swindling people for money to board.

Everything was excellent except for the shuttle bus service, the location is faraway from Haram and the shuttle bus was there to take us to the Haram but when returning it didn’t show up and we took the bus of the neighbour hotel to return back, the shuttle bus service needs to be improved to overcome the faraway location.
Other than that the room was teddy and clean and very comfortable, the food was delicious and the service was excellent and warm.

What an awesome accommodation facilities for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims while in Makkah Al Mukaramah.. the atmosphere of a recommended 5 star hotel with a distance of using a shuttle bus is only 15 minutes from the Grand Mosque. A double room with very comfortable facilities, a refrigerator, very clean, an ok bathroom with perfect hot water, a spacious wardrobe and drawers, a work desk and a small sofa as well as a varied and delicious breakfast service will relieve your fatigue after a long day of worship in the Grand Mosque. Supported by the facilities of a magnificent mosque with a beautiful voiced Imam near the hotel, as well as a 24-hour cafes and stores, it will make you forget the scorching heat in the city of Mecca. 24-hour shuttle bus from the front of the hotel is ready to support your spiritual journey.. love it very much!

It’s 5am and we are in the lobby, the room wasn’t ready, we waited 2.5 hours to be ready!! (It supposed to be ready 14 hours before.
We paid for triple room, they gave us double room and brought a small bed!!!
Rooms are small and not even 3 stars
Bathroom is tight and really dirty and rusted!
Hot water is very low pressure
I would give 2-3 stars max
