I really wanted to give it a higher rating. But a few things have happened with me that stopped me from giving them higher rating. The main thing was not recognizing my Marriott status, specially in accommodating early Check-In. While I know I’m Ramadan things can be busy, but they had availability and they were not quick trying to help.
Another issue is the old nature of some of the amenities. For example, the phone in the room was touchy, the cord was making noises whenever I move my hand lightly.
The sink was blocked and I had to ask for a plumber. I ordered $12 Arabic coffee pot in the lobby coffee shop, only to discover that the pot with not working, so I opened it, only to discover mold inside the pot (delah).
From the good size of things they did send me a fruit and kunfeh welcome gift, which was nice. But nothing can compensate for not being able to upgrade my room, which is relatively small and overlook other rooms, not a nice view.
