My family and I stayed at this location recently for our Umrah trip. The location is not ideal for those who have difficulty ambulating. The shuttle service does come often (every 2-3 mins) but still requires a lot of walking after being dropped to shuttle location.
The room itself is modern and as advertised.
The main reason for the poor review is the staff’s handling of out of order elevators. A rainstorm caused the elevators to be out of order. Natural disasters are certainly not the fault of the staff/hotel but their response was incredibly poor and unprofessional. As their technicians worked to correct the solution, dozens of families waited in the lobby.
The staff decided to secretly transport the “complainers” of the lobby up via a service elevator while the majority of the guests remained clueless in the lobby.
A very disheartening and unprofessional response by the staff.
Seeing elderly guests have to go up 5-10 floors to get to their room while those noisy guests quietly go up on a service elevator is not acceptable

We were traveling with young kids. Our experience has been marvelous. From the moment we stepped at the front door to checkout everything was smooth sailing.
The front desk / reception takes everything into their hands and welcomes you with open arms.
The guards, restaurant staff, room service, are all cheerful & helpful to talk to, yes there could be language barriers at some time but they try their best to find a way & don't ignore you.
Absolutely loved our stay.

Very comfortable and clean hotel and very well lit. The mosque (El Haram) is 800 m away on foot. Excellent room service. The staff are welcoming and warm. Thanks to the staff of the Zafaran restaurant and particularly to the very professional Mahmoud Essayed.

Everything is perfect for sure! From reception to room and cleaning, staff is very nice and helpful. Having smile on there face makes the day. Good breakfast. Shuttle service is available 24/7 to Haram.

Stayed 8 wonderful days at the hotel. The staff are very welcoming and friendly starting from the reception to the restaurant. I really appreciate the various lifts available which ease our movements. The food was excellent and abundant and the staff members were very helpful. Mr Ahmad Sayed was always there to ensure his level best. I would highly recommend.
