Great place to spend time with friends and family if you are looking for a quiet place. Place is well maintained. Better to visit at night, the place is hot at daytime.

Wadi Namar provides the perfect escape for city folk who need a respite from the hustle and bustle. It is located in the Southern part of Riyadh just a short drive from the city center. Come early and you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. There are ducks and fish aplenty and, if you're lucky, you can witness the surprisingly huge catfish showing off. This a good location for a leisurely walk along the corniche and for picnics. There are clean public restrooms for everyone.

One word PEACEFUL. Though it gets crowded, but you can always find a time when u can avoid the crowd . Its really satisfying to feed the ducks . Carry ur leftover breads for the same ?
Open space available for kids to ride their bikes or fly the kites and so on ... you can do your barbecue here as well. Hope this helps.

This place is very beautiful we enjoyed it very much, The water lake is very clean and the atmosphere is very calm and quiet. We sit on stairs that touch the water surface. There is an open place for prayer and washrooms are available for men and women we visit in the morning time.
