ZamZam Pullman Makkah Hotel

It was excellent. Bathroom was a bit small. But over all was good. Manar was so good in helping guest and especially me and my family in every aspect of my stay. She is amazing girl hard working. May Allah bless her. Amen

It’s midnight and I’m writing a review. This should tell you how bad this stay has been. We are Currently staying at the Pullman whilst we perform our umrah. Booked 2 rooms for 7 people. We were supposed to get 2 suites. Instead we got a ridiculously small duplex and a ‘suite’ with a broken toilet and which smelt of urine. Unbelievable. After complaining we were then given 2 suites. The first didn’t have enough beds, Or bathroom amenities (towels, loo rolls, shower gel or soap) so we had to go buy our own. The room wasn’t cleaned for days despite several requests. And then when someone did show up, they couldn’t do the whole room because they were too busy. Half the plugs didn’t work and the room looked like it was worn out. The second suite didn’t have working air conditioning or curtains that closed- letting light in so we couldn’t sleep. Did I mention that I’m writing this review at midnight? this is because our room is ridiculously hot due to the non working AC. Same issue with bathroom amenities - if three people are sharing a room, they need more then one 25ml shower gel bottle!! Plugs and lights inside the room didn’t work properly, and the whole room smelt of old cooking. Despite multiple requests to have someone come and fix the air conditioning, no one turned up. Oh and the room wasn’t cleaned daily, more like every three days. Just horrible. How can someone treat people like this. It’s so bad. These rooms were expensive and what should have been a stress free stay with a reputable company turned out to be wholly disappointing.

Did not reach the expectations of a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a classic 2 bed room. Table was wobbly, bathroom door handle broken, toilet seat loose, bathroom drain open so you could see inside pipe, sink drain not working and shower dirty with stains. Maintenance of the rooms was neglected overall. Took so long to get to the floor you wanted or wait for the lift to arrive it didn't feel like 5 star experience at all. 2 star because housekeeping was great and they did their job well when requested. We did have overflowing bin for 1 day as housekeeping didn't come. Our 3-4 star hotel in Madinah was better kept and maintained and had great housekeeping there! Plus the lifts was not as much a hassle like the 5 star one. Could do better!

Location to Masjid al-Haram is first class. I noticed a lot more educated female saudi staff on hand to assist our sisters at the reception area with is very good. Our room service was good in Pullman Zamzam. Our room was no. 909 and brother Monir looked after us and wqs always willing to be of service with a smile on his face.

Easy to access food at breakfast. Need more variety in hot food and other cold food. Friendly staff and very helpful in the restaurant for breakfast. Spacious eating area and comfortable. Decor is very old and dated in the rooms and smells musty. AC and lights didn't work properly. Only location is good as it's very close to the Haram.
