I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Le Méridien Riyadh. From the moment I arrived, the service was appalling. The concierge stared at me instead of assisting with our luggage, setting a negative tone for the rest of my stay. My experience only worsened when I ordered room service. Despite clearly requesting a hot soup and well-done burger in both English and Arabic, I received lukewarm soup and a raw burger. The chef confirmed that the burger was undercooked, causing me unnecessary stress and wasting my time. Furthermore, the pervasive foul smell in the lobby and the issue with non-flushing toilets in the rooms made the stay extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. The hotel's failure to address these basic hygiene concerns is unacceptable. The quality of the food at the hotel was equally disappointing, with tasteless and stale offerings for both dinner and breakfast. The lack of seasoning and freshness in the dishes was a major letdown. To top it off, when I voiced my concerns to the receptionist upon checkout, he did not seem to care about my negative experience. Overall, my stay at Le Méridien Riyadh was a complete disaster and I am deeply disappointed in the lack of professionalism and quality at the hotel.

I am staying at the Executive floor, and the rooms are very pleasant, comfortable and squeaky clean. The breakfast is really nice; good selection and perfectly cooked poached eggs-on-avocado-toast. Riyadh traffic is notoriously busy, so if the location suits you, this should be amongst your top choices.

Clean and spacious rooms, quick service, breakfast is quiet good. The only thing I didn’t like is the weak shower flow (no much water).

I didn’t not rate the rooms as I rented the 15th floor hall for an event. The sales department particularly Rouya and Shahad were very unprofessional and don’t stand up to the 5 star standards of Marriot hotels. Honestly, from the booking day. I had to hunt them to make sure we got the reservation. I booked the venue for a scientific meeting. I had requested food for 25 people and extra chairs in case more people show up (which is standard in any event Hall in Riyadh) . We payed over 7k. A day before the even, I went to check on the set up to my surprise there were only 25 chairs in the room. I requested an additional 18 chairs. Rouya , the sales, contacted me mandating the removal of the chairs if no payment is received beforehand. I assured her that the payment she had requested of over 5 thousand will be payed. However, i had left the venue and I will pay it early morning before the meeting. The next day, when we came to the event we were surprised that the chairs had been removed completely! This is the first and last time I will ever have any event with this group. So unprofessional and greedy service not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel. I hope the Marriot group re-evaluate the performance of the employees of this hotel.
