リヤド国立動物園は、リヤドで最も人気があり、家族連れに人気の観光名所の 1 つです。 1980年代後半にオープンして以来、その人気はますます高まっています。地元ではマラズ動物園として知られています。この動物園には、1,500 を超える動物と、地理的な起源が異なる 80 種の鳥がいます。これらの動物は人工的に作られた生息地で自由にさまよっているのが見られるため、行政は野生生物の自然環境を保護するために最善を尽くしてきました。
アトラクションと施設
動物園のハイライトは電車です。 20 分間電車に乗って動物園を見学できる 2 台のミニ キッズ トレインがあります。動物園の中では、ヒョウ、ライオン、トラ、ゴリラ、チンパンジー、ゾウ、ワニ、シマウマ、キリン、フラミンゴ、その他多くの動物を見ることができます。動物園には、インド亜大陸原産の有名なベンガルトラもいます。動物園では、サウジアラビアではほとんど絶滅しているアフリカのホウバラも見られます。
近くには、礼拝堂、レストラン、カフェ、アイスクリーム店、訪問者用のトイレがあります。実物を見ながら動物のことを学べる、子どもたちの教育旅行です。動物園が閉園する直前に、2 頭のゼニガタアザラシが、調教師からエサを手に入れる才能を発揮しているのを見ることができます。
動物園のタイミング
動物園を訪れるなら冬がおすすめです。夏は暑すぎて、動物は日陰で人目につかない場所を好むからです。動物園は、平日はマグリブの祈りで閉園し、日曜日は閉園します。

Excellent outing especially with young children...easy to socially distance. Plenty of animals including tigers, elephants, zebra & giraffes. Very clean & well maintained. Not too big so easy to get around with kids. Parking is convenient across the road. It is all outdoors so I'd recommend going on a day when it's not too hot to walk around.

It was an amazing experienced and i am 100% satisfied. There are lots of rare animal that i did not see in my own country and zoo's of other countries. I highly recommend you to go visit here and it was affordable like 11 SR only. You can bring all your family members,surely the kids will enjoy.

Very nice place for kids and family. The collection of animals are very good and educational for the kids.
The facilities are good and well distributed, the public areas are also clean and so tidy.
Areas of improvement:
1. Wish if the payment is easier (online or faster queues).
2. More Parking areas.
3. Update the signs about the animals, making them colorful, and with Educational information, I noticed that some of the animals without signs, or unrelated.
