サウジアラビア王国の西海岸、ジッダに位置するファハド王の噴水は、ファハド王からジェッダ市に寄贈されたため、そのように名付けられました。 1980 年から 1983 年にかけて建設され、1985 年に一般公開されたファハド王の噴水は、この種のものとしては世界で最も高く、最大水位は 853 フィートで、エッフェル塔 (アンテナなし) よりも高くなっています。
デザイン
ジェッダの街から見えるファハド王の噴水は、毎日合計 16 トンの水を 375 km/h の速度で空中に噴き出すことができます。噴水のデザインに組み込まれた 500 を超えるライトに照らされた日暮れ後、噴水が最も美しく見えます。夜空を背景に空に向かって舞い上がるにつれて水の色が変化し、信じられないほど魅力的な光景を作り出します。
訪問するのに最適な時期
ほとんどの観光客は日没後にそこに着くので、日没直前にそこに着くことができれば、見晴らしの良い場所を簡単に見つけることができます.さらに、噴水からの小さな水滴が肌を愛撫し、リラックスと癒しの効果を生み出すように、海に輝く夕日の景色を楽しむことができます。
その後、道を渡ってリッツ カールトン ホテル通りに寄り道することができます。ここには屋台、カフェ、レストランがあり、市内で最高のコーヒー、サンドイッチ、ペストリーを提供しています。

beautiful place to spend the day at .. its a long stretch with a variety... some areas are dedicated for long walks, jog..some for cycling... some kids area.. they have place for families to sit down and watch the sea..sunset... its beautiful throughout!!

King Fahd's Fountain is listed in "Guinness World Records"as the highest water fountain in the world.
The fountain is visible throughout the vicinity of Jeddah. The water ejected can reach a speed of 375 km/h (233 mph) and its airborne mass can exceed 16 tonnes (18 short tons).The fountain uses saltwater taken from the Red Sea instead of freshwater. Over 500 LED spotlights illuminate the fountain at night.
The ideal time to visit it is in the months of December & January, when the temperature ?️ is ideal - just like Mediterranean climate - around 25 degrees Celsius ! Wonderful Skyline & Restaurants await you !
