Most places closed or under renovations way too less food options. Most Cafes google suggested were permanently closed.
But we had a lovely walk. Would suggest to go few minutes before sunset, watch sunset at the nearby park and pray maqrib at Jaffali Mosque. Take some drinks and food with you and support local as well while you’re there! ??

Great place with magnificent, lovely, classic buildings. Some of the houses are ruined but will be renovated by the ministry of culture in the future and then the old town will be even more beautiful.

One of the most important n historical place of Jeddah . You can find everything here, the old building and windows designs looks spectacular. In Ramadan the authorities decorates this place like its truly the bride of Red Sea

Great place for strolling around, observing the old buildings, watching people and life going on in this traditional neighbourhood.
Some buildings are being restored and maintained while others are in worse condition, providing a good mix and balance.
Shops do not open in the morning and the difference between daytime and nighttime is striking. More activities and people around after sunset, also much light has been installed to creat a very nice ambience during the dark hours which is when I would recommend to visit.
