La description

Soma est un restaurant de sushis récemment ouvert situé sur la route Uthman Ibn Affan. Le petit restaurant de plain-pied offre un intérieur charmant et élégant décoré de bocaux en verre transparent avec des plantes et des toiles représentant des palais asiatiques. Le restaurant de sushis propose un menu simple mais appétissant avec des classiques tels que : « Teppayanki », « Nigri », « Maki » et des plateaux de rouleaux spéciaux de 6 pièces. Le restaurant n'en est qu'à ses débuts et des plans d'agrandissement à cet endroit et à l'avenir sont en cours.

I am not a sushi expert but this sushi bar is set as reference to me for all other bars, as the chef is an expert one as he used to work in different hotels and he is an award winner. This place deserves nothing but 5 out of 5. The place is cozy but the location is not on its side. I will try different sushi bars but I believe this one will be the best of them.

Soma Sushi Bar brings the elegant flavors of Japan into the heart of Saudi Arabia. The ambiance is chic, classy, and sophisticated but also welcoming to its discerning customers. My highest compliments go to Chef Roman and Omar and the generous staff. They have been accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. The food in itself is worth an entire review dedicated to it personally. For the sake of brevity, however, we can certainly say that we were pleased with the variety of selections presented before us. Portions make for a hearty meal whether it’s ramen or sushi. Each offering a different flavor of Japan reimagined by Soma’s excellent chefs. I would be remiss to not mention their new Italian additions to their menu. The vegetable pizza is an exceptional addition to their near-perfect arsenal. Worth coming back for! It’s a strong 9.7/10 for us.

I had a delicious lunch there! Special thanks to Mr. Omar for his great customer service We ordered: - Dynamite Shrimp (Spicy and special!) - Crazy Spicy Shrimp Tempura Roll (You’ll be crazy about it! Fantastic!) - Crazy California Roll (amazing!) - Crazy Spider Roll (Signature and must to try!) - Beef Tenderloin (A must to try!) Overall, excellent and hope they continue to provide the same and better

Top sushi! Chefs previously worked in a 5 start hotel - the presentation and taste were evident of it. There was ample parking and the ambience was pleasing.

I considered this sushi restaurant as great taste with reasonable price. We went there at afternoon and it was silenced. We ordered tempura, sushi platter and japanese noodle. Sushi taste great, tempura was abit oily, and Japanese noodles/udon had chinese taste rather than japanese taste. But overall are good. Staffs were nice and helpful.
