Hotel entrance beautiful, room neat and tidy. Breakfast is great. Shuttle is BAD. Every hour or 2, only one trip. The hotel is not far but the walk back is killing as it is uphill. The need to make frequent trips to the haram instead of letting the shuttle stand still most of the day. And the bus driver was rude when asked where is the pick up location. Bathroom had a smell Fridge broken and after a day waiting they said we put ice which we did not. What on earth do we do and how to even get ice while traveling in makkah. Waited a day for hairdryer, multiple request. It came and worked not longer than 5 seconds. Door handle jammed and the wait for someone was another, WAIT. Overall don't think I'll be returning here, the hotel looks pretty and the receiving staff smiled, but the service stay was poor. And we just came from a hotel with service delivery 10/10 and looked and smelled amazing for less the price and bigger room.

Disappointing experience at Shaza. Check-in was subpar, with indifferent receptionists. Language barrier issues; had to persist for a simple request like a hairdryer. Small rooms. Rude phone attendant. Ideal location, but construction makes access challenging. Limited shuttle schedule. On a positive note, breakfast was good.

This hotel is awesome specially their hospitality is so good. I stayed here with my family. The buffet breakfast also excellent. And the Bangladeshi staff are very honest and sincere like Mr Ismail, Mr Mehedi and others Bangladeshi staff. So I really enjoyed and I recommend this hotel for family

This is my favourite hotel in Makkah and I’ve stayed in over 10 including Hilton Alhamdulillah. The ambience in this hotel is great and checking in is fast, most staff speak Arabic and English. All the little details have been thought about. The service is great all round, they are fast to pick up the phone and fast to serve your needs. Housekeeping is great, especially from brother Mahade Hassan and the supervisor Ismail. Flawless cleaning everyday. No shortage of water and they replace your towels and bath mat swiftly. We tried a few items on the room service menu, which all tasted great. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are air tight and also spacious. There is a lounge you can use as a quiet space to work which is very useful for working remotely or studying in-between prayers. We had two interconnected rooms and they unlocked the doorway between them which was very helpful throughout our stay, especially for looking after my toddler nephew. One of the best things in this hotel is the pillows, great night’s sleep… The only thing I’d say was a little bit difficult was the short walk uphill on the way to the hotel and the slight noise from the construction, but that’s how Makkah is generally.

Hotel is very nice and clean Good location Only downside is the room cleaning, I was disappointed with it. They did not bother to remove 2 days old food from the room, nor did they replace old towels with new ones.
