I am writing this because of how amazing this hotel is.
Let’s start of with the room and lobby,
Lobby was great with two rooms where you can sit, you can also be greeted by a person handing out dates, iced tea and Arabic coffee.
Room was also great, with the minimum waiting time of five minutes.
Room was filled with one queen bed, which was enough for three family members with no problem.
Now lets move on to prayer room,
Prayer room was big, with LITERAL live audio from MASJID AL HARAM.
The fact that the audio comes from Masjid Al Haram makes me feel closer to the Kaaba.
Next, the food:
I only got breakfast as I got other meals after Asr and Isha prayer at the Jabal Omar towers. The breakfast availability was great, you could pick bread and toast them. It was basically a 5-star buffet with lots of dining.
Finally, the service and the location
The service wasn’t needed that much but still very helpful by the man offering iced tea and hotel employees and cleaners.
The location is medium, the downhill area and the location of Kaaba and Shaza Makkah was a rock’s throw away.
But once you finished prayer, its a problem, it is very uphill and you tend to get tired after a few dozen steps.
Also, after Jumuah speech and prayer (which the speech starts at 12:30PM), there is lots of rush going uphill with different groups and individuals, this makes my heart happy.
Now to the conclusion, this is a great hotel to temporarily live in with lots of choices you can do.
Keep it up, Shaza Makkah! 😄
