La description

Plank Sourdough Pizza, situé à Riyadh Front, est spécialisé dans la cuisson de pizzas artisanales avec les ingrédients les plus frais, dans des fours spécialement fabriqués. La toute première succursale de cette marque a été fondée en 2015 par le célèbre boulanger, M. Dean Brettschneider, et possède aujourd'hui des points de vente dans toutes sortes d'endroits, notamment en Arabie saoudite, en Amérique et à Singapour.

L'intérieur est décontracté, comme un restaurant ordinaire. Le cadre comprend de grandes chaises en forme de canapé de chaque côté et une rangée de tables avec des chaises uniquement au milieu. Bien que Plank n'offre pas d'étage supérieur, la pizzeria dispose toujours d'une assez grande terrasse extérieure donnant sur le centre commercial Riyadh Front.

Le menu de Plank propose aux clients une large gamme d'articles en dehors de la pizza, notamment des pâtes, des plats de viande, des salades et une poignée d'accompagnements et d'appitziers. Le style de préparation ici est unique, tout comme le goût. Une seule bouchée vous fera vous demander où ce genre de goût était toute votre vie.

I went to Blanca on my daughter’s birthday, we had the fruity burrata salad, eggplant lasagna, saffron shrimp risotto and the pink pasta. The food was exceptional and the service is soooooo nice especially Hisham he was so neat and welcoming, I recommend setting outside the location near the fountain makes the weather lovely. Highly recommended

Overall, the food is good but I expected more. The Buratta salad was average, lacking in flavor. We tried 4 types of pizzas and I can safely say the Brisket pizza was amazing. The other types were average. The Truffle pizza was disappointing. The Saffron chicken risotto did not live up to my expectations and I did not like the Penne Arabiata at all. The other highlight of the menu was the Spaghetti Eggplant rolls, they were amazing. In general, average for an Italian restaurant but I will give it another chance and try more items on the menu. One drawback of the place is the slow/dry service. The waiters were slow to respond and failed to maintain proper checking on the table. Another thing I did not like is the use of plastic cups and plastic cutlery which kinda ruins your experience of fine Italian dining. Many improvements are needed to elevate this joint!!

The Saudi waiter who served us (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) made our whole experience, wonderful. Funny a small act from the staff has a huge impact on the customer experience, although, it's my 3rd visit to the restaurant and it will not be the last. The pizza and other Italian dishes were up to the expectations compared to the price. The service was really fast, despite the long waiting list, usually in about 30 minutes your table will be ready. Overall, totally recommended.

Great dining restaurant. An amazing atmosphere. One of the delicious Italian restaurants in Riyadh. The prices of the meals are average which makes it even better. The Blanca pizza is something else ?. The Four cheese spaghetti wasn’t the best. However, the service was unsatisfying. Even if the restaurant is full, the owner should be ready for these occasions. You have to call the waiter in order to order, ask for napkins, or to get the check. Otherwise, you might sit there for the whole day ?.
