I stayed there for exactly 1 week, the hotel in general is very nice, especially the staff, but here comes the constructive criticism : First of all the fridge in the room is nothing that should be in a 5 star hotel, or any hotel for that matter. It's a super old rusted and dirty fridge, where the freezing compartment isn't even separate from the fridge so anytime you put anything in it, it freezes. Second the bathroom, I can definetly say it looks like the pictures, but the cleanliness lacks. The floor tiles had a lot of this hardened black sludge between them, the shower head was full of limescale, and the shower door wasn't the cleanest. Now I'm not saying it's unacceptable or it's super disgusting, but for that price it should be squeaky clean. For the room itself it's nice. I just didn't like the bed, it wasn't comfortable, the pillows and blanket were made of polyester / felt like plastic. Also something that you wouldn't expect of a 5 star hotel. We tried the dinner once, and for that price it's totaly NOT worth it. The food in general didn't taste good, it was all just looks with no taste. I had some chicken with rice, the chicken was undercooked. Had some other type of chicken it was also undercooked. The deserts were all super dry and tasted like nothing. And we didn't come late or anything for the buffet for the food to be like that. Maybe the breakfast or lunch are better, but after that dinner we didn't even bother trying the other 2 Meals. Also using the Air conditioning felt like a task, some weird central system, but not that important. The real turnoffs for me we're the fridge and the buffet. You'd think it's not a big of a deal, but it's little details that distinguish a normal hotel from a luxury 5 star Hotel. I would also suggest if possible to be on a lower floor than having to take the elevator for a long time. But again the hotel reception, elevators, corridor etc, we're all very very nice. Overall I would give it a 3.8/5 I would come again, but maybe getting a better room. (sadly forgot to take pics)

This is a nice hotel very close to the Kaaba. A short walk of 3 min leads you to the entrance of the grand mosque. The hotel is in a big mall which opens into the courtyard leading to the grand mosque. Elevators that are common to the mall and the hotel are busy. The hotel has its own elevators that take you down to the haram which are less busy. The food is good. Fresh fruit choice is limited to only apples and oranges sometimes watermelon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mohamed took good care of me as I worked on my laptop during breakfast. Thanks Mohamed! Overall, It is very convenient for travelers willing to spend the extra bucks.

The room service needs improvement in terms of how fast they provide things. Apart from this its a good hotel. It has a separate lift which is really helpful in rush hours. The Kaaba view rooms are great. The receptionist Ahmed Motwali was really nice to us which made our stay great. Overall, will recommend it.

Check in is horrible however post 2 hours things got sorted out and we were checked in like 3am in morning. It was painful and Staff is not very accommodating. However post checking in the hotel is good in terms of housekeeping, restaurant and their upkeep. If only the reception can improve things would have been far better. The rating for reception is not even 1 but for the rest of the staff I would rate them 4
