ZamZam Pullman Makkah Hotel

The quality of the room was better than my last stay, I didn’t have a leaking shower this time. However, I prefer to stay elsewhere for the fact that the quality of the rooms, amenities, breakfast is better at the Hilton with same price. The housekeeping operators were very slow, I had to call for my request more than three times and didn’t even get what I had requested for until the next day. The first day of my stay the housekeeping team didn’t clean the room and I had to call two different times to get a team to clean the room. What I normally expect to see in a room wasn’t there, like dental hygiene kit, sewing kit, q tips, slippers, floor mats for the bathroom or a loaf for bathing. The only thing I liked was the staff on the front desk and the lady who called me on my last day of check up on my stay. Although I thought that there were miscommunication among the team because they called me twice to ask me when I was checking out. I thought it was weird to ask me twice the same question as the lady was very professional but the second call I got a call from the front desk waked me up to answer the same question. Overall I was not planning to stay at Pullman Zamzam again, as I do prefer Hilton Convention Center Hotel. The rooms are new there, breakfast is much better (from my previous stay experience), while the location is almost the same. I might try Pullman Zamzam one more time as the lady who called to check on my stay was very nice. Lastly the elevator was a problem, it could take you up to 10 minutes just to reach the lobby which was a huge inconvenience.

Ranked as a 5 star but it is NOT a 5 star at all. More like a 2 star. Right when I entered the suite, it smelled so bad from the AC. The beds were dusty. The rooms and bathrooms had stains. We saw cockroaches. Other than that, the locations was prime, right next to Al Haram. They had a mall and a food cafe which was nice. But it also made the hotel very busy and we already needed to take 2 different elevators to get to the room

The good lady that assisted me with check in etc was excellent at her job, welcoming and understanding. The hotel is ideally situated for easy access to the Haram. I was there only for 1 night so this was a good location. While I understand that the location is prime and the hotel is under renovation, I did not expect that I would be met by a bed that has caved in the centre, a bathroom peppered with cockroaches and facilities that are terribly aged. For this price, the hotel should have ongoing maintenance, fumigation and improved quality. What has taken so long to get the process going? Had I known, I would have stayed at another hotel in the same property.

Salam, I just checked out 14 minutes ago and if you are interested in booking a room here for the sake of the view save your money and book elsewhere for the sake of your comfort. Besides only 2 out of the 7 check-in desks being open and having to wait a long while for a room, it would’ve all been for nothing. The rooms are very outdated and the cleanliness is extremely poor. There is an abundance of dust in the vents and on the floors that you will catch allergies and sneeze. The bed sheets are sticky as if they have never been washed. I’ve seen reviews of people claiming they had bedbugs in their room and that isn’t surprising as the room we were in was taken over by flies we couldn’t even sleep well. This was all very upsetting and when we spoke to the staff and managers they were reluctant to offer a solution. This was all very upsetting considering we came for ibada and umrah and paid a lot of money for a night and a half just to be met with poor accommodations and negligent staff. These people are making money off the backs of Muslims and taking advantage of the one of the most holiest sites in Islam being in their backyard and it is very sad to see. Please save yourself, think about your comfort, and book elsewhere. Salam.

Did not reach the expectations of a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a classic 2 bed room. Table was wobbly, bathroom door handle broken, toilet seat loose, bathroom drain open so you could see inside pipe, sink drain not working and shower dirty with stains. Maintenance of the rooms was neglected overall. Took so long to get to the floor you wanted or wait for the lift to arrive it didn't feel like 5 star experience at all. 2 star because housekeeping was great and they did their job well when requested. We did have overflowing bin for 1 day as housekeeping didn't come. Our 3-4 star hotel in Madinah was better kept and maintained and had great housekeeping there! Plus the lifts was not as much a hassle like the 5 star one. Could do better!
