Honestly this hotel needs a huge refurbishing. I wish i took pictures to post here. Many walls are damaged in the corridors. The rooms are from the 80's, and the bathrooms have broken tiles and dirty silicone and grout. The restaurant offers nothing of interest, and the breakfast is minimal. In the breakfast they poured nescafe instant coffee in the brewed coffee pot and pretend it's brewed coffee. Area is very shady. Would not recommend at all.

The room was quiet and clean. Good location, 5 minutes walk from the sea, you can see the big fountain. Breakfast with a hearty, service staff Mr Mohammed Ali service attitude is particularly good!

I recently stayed at the Jeddah Mercure Al Hamra Hotel and my experience was very pleasent. The credit for my wonderful stay goes among other things to one person - Muhammad Ali. From the moment I walked into the hotel, Muhammad Ali made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met. He was incredibly professional, courteous, and always had a smile on his face. He was also very knowledgeable about the local area and was able to provide me with some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Overall, I would highly recommend the Jeddah Mercure Al Hamra Hotel to anyone looking for a good stay in the area.

Hotel was very old and require a full refurbishment. Breakfast was very limited and lunch was okey. The vibe was of a bread n breakfast motel on the highway. Staff was friendly n curtious. Kitchen staff was polite to take a feedback with a smile. It wasn't very expensive so one must expect a lot but for the name of the brand. This property clearly did not match.

The room was clean and spacious, it well combined with a very friendly staff especially the security and a women that allows me to print a lot of documents for free.
