Centro Shaheen Jeddah by Rotana

Visited this hotel yesterday to attend a meeting with the client Following are the observations 1) the meeting room C was fine and well enough to accommodate around 20-25 attendees and equipped with all multimedia functionalities 2) just outside to the meeting room, there is an area for refreshments and completely isolated with the meeting room activities. 3) the restaurant is located at the same floor as meeting room i-e floor 1, the savory items were cold and non-fresh however the salad and the dessert bar were reasonable and tasteful. 4) the staff was active and cooperative

It's just ok , stayed 2 nights at this hotel during the summer, the location of this hotel are 25mins away from jeddah airport and it's a bit new hotel, there is few places around if you wanna go out somewhere walking but will take around 15mins. There is also a mall nearby and some other facilities. 3 stars because of their service needs to be improved .

I went for breakfast on 01/07/22. It was an open buffet. The items were so many and tasty. Service was very good and the whole Ambience was very warm. I recommend others to try it out.

After trying few other hotels in area I could say this competes with global chains (le meridian etc) The reception and check in/check out process was smooth and very pleasant as well as security staff. The rooms are decent and clean it has the main amenities needed (ironing bord, toiletries, coffee tea,air dyer, towels (not bathrobe or bath slippers) (shower temperature were not hot enough) they have a flayer on Sustainability relating to usage of towels, however, I think it’s not sufficient to rate them as sustainable or green hotel. The bed is comfortable, and sheets are clean the house keeping usually done daily. They offer room services and one dining option The menu is somehow pricey, with few healthy options, and sometimes the portions are not adequate (I ordered fruit salad with yogurt where the yogurt was literally in small sauce plate). The staff delivering the food were nice and professional Unfortunately the gym and pool are limited to males only, and there’s no other SPA or health facilities for ladies. Overall the stay is good for quick and short stays, they need to improve the facilities offered for ladies, and their sustainability practices, as well as the dining options.
