Al Shahba Hotel

My family and I have stayed at Al Shahba hotel consecutively for the last 3 years (aside from Covid) during Ramadan. It's affordable, rooms are comfortable, and most importantly staff are very accommodating. It's within close proximity of the Haram, I mean to say about 15-20 min walk depending on your speed, there are some shortcuts, but taxis can take you to Haram for 5 riyal (maybe more during Ramadan and ofcourse plan ahead before salah time). It's a combination of these factors that have made this hotel our choice each year during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

It's a nice place to stay

Approximately 20 minutes walk to King Abdullah Expansion. Good customer service. Budget hotel. Wifi available. Many Shops and few restaurants nearby.

Almost everything was good, near to my expectations (with this price range). Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, well furnished, Baths are smaller in size but space is used nicely with fittings. Main road makes Taxi accessible easily. I stayed with my family in two rooms and everyone liked it. Will definitely be my Hotel in Future, Insha Allah. Distance is not more but the road is in slope when going to Haram which is difficult to walk for old people but if coming from Haram, it's easy to walk. I stayed 11 days and after one week the rooms were cleaned upon asking (may be they will clean even if I will ask after 3-4 days); they should by themselves ask every 3-4 days if cleaning is required, that would be much better. Location on map is left (while coming from Haram) but actually it's right. From hotel to Haram, Taxi easily available in SAR 10 but when coming back, they ask more from SAR 20-40; SAPTCO is good option while going back from Haram to Hotel with SAR 2 ticket, all buses going to Um-Al-Qura road are passing from here.
