Elaf Ajyad Hotel Makkah

It was very bad experience that I have never seen We booked via Wego from 1st of November to 5th, a city views room that costs around 200$ per night While doing our check-in , we were surprised that the bathroom vacuum was not working and the shower is broken and no cartons for the shower and We asked to fix theses issues but they kept us waiting till the next day they were unhelpful to find a solution for that and finally they changed us to a small dark room with no views and in a smoking zone area. Unfortunately we couldn’t take the refund The bed sheets has stains and when we ordered breakfast to our room in the morning they refused to provide us with it and the same thing was for the dinner pretexting that we can order dinner to our room only after 11 pm. I totally not recommend this hotel also it’s not just right away beside the Haram

strategic location, near to the haram. but the room wasnt cleaned properly, when i came it was fine till i found out there was some kind of nuts below my blanket. the service wasnt bad, but its a bit difficult to communicate with them. for the food is very little variety and not much sweets. wifi are only avaiable for 3 devices and 3 days ? the room was big but the bathroom were small, the shower water are flooding outside.

The location of the hotel is good its just 5-6 minutes walking to haram (no hills), the reception staff is good as well. Few things that can be improved are, mostly no one answers the call made from the room either to reception or house keeping etc, my room had problem with the ac even after informing the reception it was not fixed so had to go down and speak to them. Another issue here is the parking they charge 100 riyal per day. The rooms and washrooms are quite small and some of the rooms have the worst view from the window. The breakfast can be worked upon there is not much variety of food but still it can be improved. Wifi settings need to be worked upon, also the card system for the doors are outdated.

The only good things about the hotel is the costumer service and location. It stated as 5 star hotel, but my experience feels like a 3 star hotel only. For the 3 weeks stay here, there have been at least 3 times power trips, and lifts not operapables. We have to wait for some times for the lift to operate. Air cond not cold enough. Rooms are quite outdated. Mattress and pillows not as conformable for a 5 star hotel. Food tastes great. However the variety are very limited, maybe acceptable if its a 2 star hotel. If you have choice, better choose other 5 star hotels.

Wonderful, polite and helpful staff. Especially Mohamed Adan at the reception. He was so kind and very helpful with everyone. Also the house keepers. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I would use it in my next visit to Makkah Inshaallah. - Nothing, everything was great.
