Seemed like a nice hotel from the outside but still a lot to be desired!
First we were given a “suite” although I would assume it’s a room for handicapped guests, which we did not ask for. The room was nice but the bathroom was obviously for handicapped or older people as it had only a rain shower and there was a seat similar to what you see in hospital bathrooms. No handheld shower head, no divisions, no large sink. Good thing we had a booked another room for our kids and that’s where I took my showers the whole time.
Second, we didn’t wanna leave the hotel anymore since our kids were tired so we decided to order dinner at their in-house restaurant and the wait was just RIDICULOUS. We had waited for almost an hour for our food and our kids were getting so hungry so we just decided to get up and leave. Waiting for ONE HOUR for JUST PIZZA AND SOUP is simply unacceptable. The waiter was trying to pacify us and we do not blame him, just the kitchen. Too bad the view from their terrace has a really nice view of Olaya, and I wondered how come there were no other diners there. And I found out why!
So even if you get a good room here, just take your food money with you and eat elsewhere.
