Water from this well was used to wash the prophet SAW when they passed away. So much blessing in the water. It is also narrated that SAW drank water from this well too.

I’m from Malaysia. I went to this clinic on 13 February 2022 when I was staying in Medina before heading to Makkah to perform my umrah. I met Dr. Muhammad Imran from Pakistan and went through a minor surgery to take out pus and blood clot from my swollen finger. The Dr and his assistant, Angie from Indonesia were very kind and friendly. Both of them were very gentle and they made me feel comfortable even I was in pain at that particular moment. Even though I was far from home, they made me feel so welcomed. Now my finger is getting better. Alhamdulillah... I wish both of them all the best and thank you so much for their excellent hospitality.

It's currently under renovation by the Madina government. It's near the Dark Al Hijra school. Ghars is one of the wells preferred by the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), for its freshness and from which water was usually brought to him, and the Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: “When I die, wash me with seven water-skins from al-Ghars Well. He also used to drink from this well.” The renovation is near completion but the people are allowed to visit inside. Do recommend to visit if you are interested in Islamic historical sites. It can be visited thru different touring companies especially the ones for haj and Umrah. So do ask while booking your Umrah and visit to holy sites if they will take you here also.

It's not a religious place but a historical place as per Muslim belief.. Almost 40 or 70 prophets are used to drink water from this well
