I have changed my room twice.
The hotel is fairly new but the room is packed with smoke smells.
The services needs definitely more uplift people in such a 5 star hotel.
Also, somebody needs to pick the phone!!!!

I’m changing my review to 1 star to drive the point through to the hotel’s management. Despite what I wrote and how my sleep was really uncomfortable, they were still THRILLED and HAPPY about my experience. I hope they set their standards a bit higher.
Hotel itself is very nicely decorated. You can feel that they were not stingy when they built it.
Staff, though very nice and eager to be of help, certainly need more training to reach the professional level that a hotel like this needs.
Now comes the rooms, they are clean and beautifully furnished with a modern feel, without over doing it. However there are several shortcomings, most importantly are:
- mattress was overused that it had sunk in a couple of areas to the degree that you feel you could slip off the bed - very uncomfortable.
- motion sensors do not work properly. Lights kept turning on and off during the night that woke me up many many times - I could not find a way to disconnect them.
- there was an annoying continuous sound that I could only describe as a hard disk that was working overtime.
- you have to wait a good ten minutes when taking a shower before hot water comes.
- a laundry service request was supposed to take an hour took more than 4.5 hours to be delivered back.
Breakfast that came with the room, though not bad, was quite limited in variety.

Confronting some issues with the staff. However, they have Sultan from front office team he is great and meet my expectations. Also Salaman from the 35 floor is also great. Other front office and operator need more training and they need to take care of their personalities before they give them a job specifically females. Kids club team were awesome

I had the best 4 nights in Riyadh. The hotel is in perfect location. Close from the airport ? and other convenient spots. Also, you get to try 2 amazing restaurants in the ground level Iris and Clap restaurants. I recommend it ?

For the first time I happened to stay with Fairmont and have to accept to be the best stay in Riyadh with the best of the kind of the place, people and their service. Felt home on getting back after stretching schedules on the work.
the chief steward was a kind man on checking on the guests in addition
