What an amazing museum! Loads of things to see and learn about the history of Saudi and also Islam. It was bigger than I was expecting so do allow between 1 - 2 hours. Plenty of staff to guide you around, looks like they hold varies events here too, we also went to see a jewellery exhibition from Paris.
All of this was COMPLETELY FREE of charge! Would certainly recommend you visiting. Believe they also do guided tours there too.

The National Museum of Saudi Arabia is an excellent museum. It is clean and well maintained, and every exhibit has English translations.
The staff were very polite and helpful. The public space behind the museum building is a magical place and a pleasant surprise.
We will watch for new exhibitions as an excuse to go back.

There are a lot of explore within The National Museum of Saudi. It’s also very informative if you want to learn about the country’s history and the Islamic culture. There are also English info cards around. However, the English information doesn’t seem to be fully ready yet, as some information are still missing.
The garden around is amazing too! It’s totally worth a visit for around 2-3 hours! Btw, they also have temporary exhibitions from time to time, which is amazing!

Any museum creates enough curiosity, what all contains. It's a very large place. It covers geographical aspects, early civilisations, some fossils and very detailed history of Islam. Mosque replicas are very beautiful as well.
There are a few activities for children.
Outside open garden with a stream is equally good.
Don't miss the palace nearby.

A good place to visit. Tickets not needed, however, ensure you have face masks. A beautiful and calm park besides makes it a good picnic spot. You may as well buy sea food fresh and have it prepared for the picnic. Ensure you leave it clean.
