Easy to walk from Historic Are and then catch a taxi also.
Would be a good idea if the Authorities put up a plaque or something to make it easy for people to understand it’s importance.

In old age the way to Mecca was started from here in Jeddah so it is called Mecca gate or Baab Makkah.
No tickets are required , situated near the busy road.

Well, I expected something really extraordinary and monumental but in fact this gate is a bit disappointing. its in the middle of a demolished area and totally neglected. I suggest you look at pictures in Internet instead of ordering a taxi to go there.
