Very nice place where you can actually see the Saudi heritage and have a feel of what Saudi Arabia is, sorry was, and where it all started. Familles can come and picnic and kids can play on the grass, under the shed of palm trees. If you don't feel like getting your picnic basket out, you have the option of restaurants, cafes and even a convenience store. Disclaimer: I have not tried the restaurants nor the coffee shop.

One of the best places that must see.
It is a combination a tradition and modern architecture in the city. It is linked to old city but it is not completed yet.
The coffee shops are controversial and there are traditional restaurants in the area.
I recommend it for families.
