The reservation team is a complete mess. The reservation manager sounds bothered to do his job (even when calling during business hours). Simple requests about availability and rates are apparently to complicated to be answered. To be avoided. I believe there are much more professional around.

Shocking experience as a housekeeper opened my room in the midnight without ringing a bell while I was sleeping. We told the management that we will stay one more night (while the rest of the group checked out). The communication was done by mail before our arrival and we mentioned that to the management team in person as well, yet they didn’t seem to deliver the message to the reception and the housekeeping team. If you stay longer than your group, double confirm with the reception that your stay is extended. We can bare the average level of the food and facilities, but not such a surprise in the midnight! (+There is no security door chain in my room.)

I really hate writing bad reviews but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. While the views from the property were STUNNING, the overall experience was terrible. The facilities were not used properly and maintenance was lacking. The food was bad and the service was even worse. It seemed the staff was doing everything but attending to the guests. I couldn’t order anything by the pool (not even a towel) because there was no one there ask, and even after finding, nothing ever showed up.I strongly advise against staying here. Additional to that, there are zero activities. Save your money and find a better hotel for your stay.
If you still wish to stay at Shaden, make sure you got a car with you so you dont wait ages for golf car (if you find any)

I recently stayed at Shaden resort and was disappointed with the staff behavior. Throughout my stay, I observed several instances where staff members were rude and unprofessional towards guests. Additionally, I noticed that some staff members appeared to be untrained or inexperienced, as they struggled to answer basic questions about the resort's amenities and services.
The poor staff behavior had a significant impact on my overall experience at the resort, leaving me feeling unwelcome and frustrated with my stay. the quality of hospitality was not up to par with what I had expected. There was a clear gap between what I paid and the level of service I received.
I hope that the resort can take appropriate action to address these issues and improve their staff training and customer service. I would recommend that future guests consider other options before booking a stay at Shaden resort.
