We booked this place due to the proximity to the Jeddah corniche circuit during the Grand Prix weekend and the cheap price. We booked a two bedroom apartment and it did the job as the apartment was spacious with decent beds so as we didn't spend time at the apartment except to go to sleep, we didn't really have any complaints despite the very dated decor and furniture and lack of amenities like electric kettle and towels.
Location wise it's near coffee places and takeaway/restaurants within walking distance. For the price we got for three nights on the Grand prix weekend with comfortable beds, we were more than willing to overlook the deficiencies that you would have expected from a hotel.
I have given it four stars largely on basis of price on a GP weekend. If you want up to date facilities, look elsewhere.
