Do not go here. My expectations were not high but experience was truly bad.
I am Gold member with Accor and therefore I booked but I strongly recommend they take this hotel off the program.
Hotel has not been maintained for years.
It starts with poor welcome and no info. When entering room door panel falls off. Inside electrical outlets are not working or badly placed.
TV does does display any channel.
No towels in room and when I ask they bring me just 1 towel.
Water sink does not flush water and sink.fills up.
I arrive around midnight and go to sleep at 01.30am they wake me up with continuous knocks on door with a fruit basket. Seriously....
Next morning shower is with only cold water.
For.this horrible experience they charge 120€

Hotel has really gone down over the last 2 years, never any towels in the rooms, you have to ask and it takes at least 3 hours if you ever get them. Check in is very slow. On two occasions have got to my room only to find it already occupied.
Pictures on the brochure are very old, rooms have deteriorated a lot.

My friends and I made the decision to spend Christmas Eve dinner at the Mercure Hotel Al Khobar on December 24, 2023. As you are aware, we are all eager to celebrate and savor the festive cuisine they serve, but all of a sudden, we are dissatisfied and let down by what we discover on the menu. It is international cuisine, as stated in the promo, but it has Arabic influences. Hopefully, it won't occur once more. Please make your menu more enticing and tasty, and enhance your service.

I have stayed in many hotels in Saudi Arabia on business visits, but Mercure Hotel was a horrible experience, rooms were very very dirty, carpet was like they didn’t clean from ages, ordered food in the room, bad quality. I have to call 5-6 times to reception if I need anything. Hotel was not having towels, can anyone believe it, but that’s true, not a single towel in the room, they said all the towels are in laundry. I would give zero rating and strongly recommend waste of money. It is not 5-star hotel it is zero-star hotel.

It was a very bad experience first the reception staff are so unprofessional and they dont know how to there job u ask for something several times and no response,even the service is bad and slow and what really pissed me off they lost one personal belongings to me and no action was taken i never been to hotel and lost something until now! I ask to compensate me with my lost but no one reply really shame ! I will never come back
