象の岩 (Jabal AlFil) は、世界で最も人気のある岩層の 1 つであり、サウジアラビアのマディーナ州の都市、アルウラー地域のハイライトです。遠くから見ると、この岩は象が地面に縛られた幹のように見えます。エレファント ロックは、アラビア語で Jabal-Al'fil としても知られています。高さ 52 メートルの巨大な岩は、アラビアの空に 3 階建てまでそびえ立っています。巨大なエレファント ロックを見るのは難しく、その途方もない大きさに畏敬の念を抱かずにはいられません。
風景
このマンモスは、自然の力によって形作られたため、近くのヘグラのナバテア人の墓の手彫りの華麗な構造の中でも際立っています。この赤い砂岩の獣の胴体と胴体は、何百万年にもわたる水と風による侵食によって形作られました。

8 years ago, there was no development at this site. But now, the Royal Commission of Al-Ula is generating attraction to traffic more visitors by installing Majalis in circular shapes, a restaurant and beautiful lighting on the mountains. I have also observed a mini rail track is also getting installed.
It is a humble request to the management who are taking care of the site to clear the rubbish markings on the Elephant rock.
The future of this site looks bright and I am sure the place is going to be more attractive the next time I visit.

Sad to say the time we visit the famous elephant rock according to the people maintaining peace and order it is temporarily closed until further notice we just visit October 15,2021 so make sure before visiting Al Ula and one of your listings is elephant rock better ask the office in charge since we are already at the site we just take a picture from the far to have a souvenir on that area I can’t say anything but WOW the rocks formations is insta perfect.

Elephant rock is one of the famous landmark in Al Ula and a must see site when you go there. We were there just in time for sunset. It has some sunken sitting chairs and a dainty coffee shop that offers limited refreshments as you hang out and glaze the wonder of God’s creation.

One of my best trips in Saudi Arabia. The city has many historical places and worth to visit. Easy to buy tickets for the tourist places. Not all the places require tickets, there are many places are free. I really enjoyed on my trip to Alula
