Al Ula - デイラとしても知られる旧市街は、マディーナ県のアル ウラー近くにある遺跡です。多くの古代遺産の建物、モスク、市場で構成されているため、アルウラーの主要なアトラクションの 1 つです。歴史家によると、これらの遺跡はすべて約 7 世紀にさかのぼり、町には 1980 年代初頭まで人が住んでいました。
旧市街とその魅力
旧市街を訪れると、研究者や歴史家は、町の入植者や巡礼者の豊かな歴史と、彼らがどのように都市を建設したかを知ることができます。内部の建物は、かつてはオリジナルの石と日干しレンガで建てられていました。約 900 戸の家屋が密集して建ち、狭い路地だけで区切られています。
10世紀にさかのぼることができるアル・ウラー城と呼ばれる城もあります。城の頂上からは、アルウラーのパノラマビューと素晴らしい写真を撮ることができます。観光客は、タントラの日時計の周りに建てられた、町の主要な広場の 1 つであるタントラ プラザを散策することもできます。

AlUla is nice tourist spot in KSA. Unexpected places to see the different rock formations. Madaen, Elephant Rock, winter park, old town and other mountains which are moulded by the season from many many years ago. Wow? awesome.

Visiting AlUla Old town great experiece...recommend visiting in evening when it is a bit cooler. Many small restaurants with in and outdoor dining. People are very friendly and welcoming to visitors.

Totally different the old time of Saudi Arabia. I was so amazed with the lights and the traditional culture. Even on the late night the more you will appreciate.

We loved the Old Town. The mixture of really old buildings and newly restored buildings gives it a more authentic feel. The film and theatre shows are unique. We found the food very tasty and excellent quality. The gifts in the stalls are a bit over-priced, though.
