場所と起源
ジェッダのコーニッシュ ロードの端に位置するサウジアラビアは、ファティマ アル ザハラ モスクとしても知られるアル ラーマ水上モスクです。紅海を挟んだジェッダのウォーターフロントの北端に位置し、低い壁に囲まれた通路で海岸に接続されています。モスクは 1985 年に建設され、ジェッダで最も訪問者の多いモスクの 1 つです。
満潮時には、モスクが下の紅海の波の上に浮かんでいるように見えることと、水の端の上にモスクを吊り下げる柱があることから、「フローティング モスク」として知られています。
建築
モスクは、古代と現代のイスラム建築を組み合わせたものです。ターコイズ ブルーのドーム構造で、白いミナレットがあり、メイン ドームに加えて 52 個の外側ドームで構成されています。また、聖クルアーンの節が刻まれた 23 個の外部傘もあります。
モスクには合計 56 の窓があり、すべてイスラム様式で設計されています。中央のドームは 8 本の柱で支えられ、屋根にはステンドグラスがはめ込まれ、そこからシャンデリアがぶら下がっています。モスクには現在、高度な照明と音響システムが装備されています。モスク内の施設には、礼拝エリアとウドゥ (アブレーション) のエリアがあります。
モスクには開放的な中庭があり、海岸の壮大な景色を眺めることができ、波の音とともに海風を楽しむことができ、雰囲気に静けさを加えています。

Beautiful place. The Al-Rahmah Mosque (Arabic: مسجد الرحمة) or Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque is a mosque in Jeddah, Mecca Province, Saudi Arabia.The mosque covers an area of 2,400 m2. It consists of one main dome and 52 outer domes, 23 external umbrellas and 56 windows designed in Islamic style.

It was a long time ago but the memories still lingers, one of the unique mosque we visited when we were in Jeddah for one day transit after Umrah. It was by the beach and very lovely! Too bad didn’t have the chance to pray in it because we were in a hurry to the airport at that day. Wish I could go back!?

One of the masjid near to Saudi Binladen Group HQ, in Jeddah. I had been to this masjid several time during my official sales calls. Well maintained and very attractive surrounding with beautiful garden also. Garden consisting with dates, mango, banana etc.

Founded in inside sea water and whole Masjid is above sea water.
Try to visit when Saudi Arabia/Jeddah.
very Famous For Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
One of the most remarkable constructions in Jeddah
Visited in 2017.
