Masjid Al-Ghamamaは、サウジアラビアのメディナで最も古いモスクの1つであり、サウジアラビアの歴史的遺物の1つです。

場所と構造

If you want to visit from Masjid-e-Nabvi(SAW) then it is located outside of 310 Gate of Masjid-e-Nabvi(SAW) just on walking distance

Al-Ghamama Masjed or Al-Musalla Mosque is one of the most prominent historical sites in Medina, and the last place in which the Prophet (PHUH) performed the two Eid prayers and the prayer for rain therein. The mosque is located in the southwestern part of the Prophet’s Mosque, about 500 meters away from it, and its total area is estimated at about 480 square meters. It consists of two parts: the entrance and the prayer hall. The entrance is rectangular and is 26 meters long and 4 meters wide. The ceiling of the entrance is surmounted by five domes, supported on pointed arches, above which is the middle dome that was built over the entrance to the mosque, which is located on the northern side. While the length of the interior area of the mosque is 30 meters, and the width is 15 meters

It is the place in which Prophet Mohammed (SM) prayed the two Eids & the prayer for rain. Very historic. Loved it.

It is located at 500 meters west of As-Salam door of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
The mosque is rectangular shaped, and made of two parts, which are entrance door and prayer room. The entrance door is also rectangular shaped and has five dome-shaped circles drawn on facade. Prayer room has six domes in the shape of a circle. The largest dome is at the top of the mihrab.
