Fundada en 1947 y nombrada en honor a la hija del fundador, La Romana comenzó como una pequeña tienda en el centro de la ciudad histórica de Rimini en Italia. Hoy, la heladería ha extendido su nombre a muchas partes diferentes del mundo, incluido Riyadh.

La Romana sirve helados y postres con ingredientes de la mejor calidad; el salón ha mantenido el mismo estilo auténtico de preparación y sabor. A primera vista, el interior encaja perfectamente con la idea mental del tema de color ideal para un salón: paredes grises suaves acompañadas de mostradores y muebles beige. Aunque la exhibición de vidrio tiene el helado escondido debajo de las tapas, aún se puede ver y probar cada sabor a pedido.

La bola triple es una de las favoritas en Romana, pero la heladería también vende pasteles, crepes y cafés. Si desea probar el helado italiano en su máxima expresión, puede encontrar La Romana dal 1947 dentro de The Zone en Takhassussi Street.

Pisss hey guys, yea this is the best gelato you will ever try by far in Riyadh. Im amazed how creamy, soft and delicious their gelato is. I ordered pistachio, mango, berry something, and two chocolate flavors. All of which I enjoyed. The mango flavor is a bit too sweet but tastes so fresh and tangy. Overall, the experience is worth the visit.

A quaint coffee and gelato shop located at The Zone. The amount of flavors stocked is unbelievable… they allow tasters of the fantastic flavors and attend to you with a smile. The staff know their trade and assist you really well. The atmosphere is relaxed and one can really enjoy their time peacefully. I ordered the caramel gelato and although it was rich, it was absolutely delectable. I would be happy to visit many times over so we can get to try all the flavors available, which are like 24 different flavors in total…

Lovely shop environment and service is excellent. We only tried the gelato ice cream, and had several flavours. Some were excellent, others ok and a couple were actually not great (the fruit ones are actually more sorbet than ice cream, so best avoided). It's also quite expensive, so it does work out to a fair sum when you're in a big group

Cool place for hangout. In and out seating. Tasty Latte and Waffles. Pistachio ice cream was good choice.

The best Gelato in town! First of all the staff was so friendly and courteous, we were able to taste a lot of the flavours. They have about 24 of them, you will definitely find the one that you are craving. All gelatos are so creamy, delicious and full of the flavour they represent. I got pistachio flavour which is hands down best one for me and blue blueberry flavour that tastes like candy (in a good way - not too sweet but brings burst of berry flavour) Place is cozy but we didn’t sit down, we went for a walk around the area that has fountains and seating area. The small cup can include 2 flavours - price is 22 SAR.
