Visited the Pakistani Restaurant in Aziziya district. The problem is , the food cannot be judged because, in Ramadan they keep a limited menu and serve only those dishes. But what ever I ate, was not something exclusive but just normal Average in taste. The Pakistani service staff was good & helpful. The issues with Umrah & Haj tourists is that , they need to have their meals at the closest walking distance from their hotel stay. So there is no choice but to eat at these restaurants which are economically priced. The average meal for two adults with, one chkn/ mutton gravy, roti's, chkn biryani, 2 Coke's, 2 water & 2 Indian style tea with milk is arround 35-45 Saudi Riyals. The restaurants are focusing on turnover of the unlimited crowds that walk in during Ramadan & Hajj periods and make the best of it. The other times, these kind of Restaurant's work up to average of 35/45% . So for them, it's make hay while the sun shines and then wait patiently for next year Ramadan & Hajj periods.

So their specialty is mutton Karahi as they say. But it's not Karahi. It's salan with gravy. Like mutton qorma. I gave 2 stars for service. That was good. Food is just ok. Not crazy good.

I’m always reluctant to give negative reviews but I had to for this place. The restaurant was recommended for the food and whilst it was genuine very tasty food the place had cockroaches. It’s not a pretty place anyway but when I saw 2-3 of them crawling past my table we had to leave. Awful standards.
