If you’re considering visiting The View just go. As you’d expect the views are incredible. Great to stay there rather than just drive in to the park so you can see sunset and sunrise. Then drive around the loop to see more. We stayed in a cabin which had everything we needed including a terrace. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Navajo cuisine was Linda’s was great. Thank you for a great stay.

The views from the room are great. It’s a great place to spend the night. Room quality is a little better than what you’d expect for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Don’t waste your money in restaurant. They tried to pass off pita bread as authentic fry bread. Sort of an insult to the intelligence of anyone who can obviously tell the difference. Make sure you get tickets to do the drive through the valley the night before. You’d think staying at the hotel, you’d get that complimentary or at least they’d communicate that to you at check in. I would recommend a stay here if it’s your first time and if you’re in the area.

My husband and I decided to stay here last minute and had a room on the first floor overlooking the Valley. The views were exceptional. HOWEVER- DO NOT waste your money at the restaurant. When we walked in, there was a gentleman sending his dinner back. I had a feeling then that the quality was going to be questionable… My husband and I shared the chicken tenders basket. It was $25. I took one bite and spit it into my napkin. I think McDonald’s chicken nuggets are probably better quality “meat” than these were. The food had no flavor, was likely microwaved and fried, and was incredibly overpriced. I definitely recommend packing your own food, or swinging by the grocery store at Golding’s. Food aside, my husband and I loved having the balcony right at the valley. I’ve never stayed somewhere with that epic of a view. The beds were comfortable, towels were large (something I wish more hotels would do), and rooms were clean. The only other thing I would hope to remedy would be the moth ball smell as soon as you walk in the front door. If we come back, we’ll definitely stay at the view again!

It is an amazing opportunity to visit Monument Valley and stay in this hotel overlooking the park. The hotel was constructed so that apparently all rooms view the park. There is a beautiful lobby with a two story round stone fireplace. There are only two food options and a small grocery within 5 miles. The tour options are will worth it. Navajo Tribal Tours was informative and friendly. These photos are just from our hotel room balcony or the hotel, not the many we took on the tour.

Great hotel the rooms are very clean the bed is very comfortable I would definitely go again for the bed it’s literally one of the best beds that I slept in including 5 stars hotels I would give it 10 stars if I could and the service there is perfect very fast to respond and the price is very reasonable.
